About Edward Reicin
Before beginning a successful career in law and manufacturing,
Edward Reicin attended the University of Illinois, where he completed
both his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Law and his Juris Doctor.
After graduation, Edward E. Reicin founded a law firm that grew to
employ 35 attorneys. His work him garnered recognition as Lawyer of the
Year.
In 1975, Ed Reicin left his firm to accept the position of
President of Director of MPC Containment International, a collapsible
storage container manufacturer that brings in $50 million in revenues.
The company works primarily with the various branches of the American
military, as well as the militaries of other countries. Edward Reicin
develops and maintains sales contracts and ongoing business
relationships with the company’s clients. He also functions as President
of M. Putterman & Co., an MPC affiliate that manufactures athletic
equipment.
Outside of these business ventures, Edward Reicin
spends his time as a professional opera singer. He has performed in a
number of well-known pieces, such as Don Giovanni and the Magic Flute.
He currently serves as a Development Chairman for the Metropolitan Opera
Council.
Edward Reicin is a dedicated participant in his
professional and civic communities. He served as the Chairman of the
Board for the Near North Family Guidance Center, where he founded a Free
Legal Clinic. He is also acted as International Chairman for the Israel
Children's Center and Vice Chairman for the W. Clement Stone
Motivational Institute. Additionally, he served on the Volunteer
Observers Committee for the Chicago Bar Association and on the Indigent
Prisoners Committee for the Niles Township Bar Association.
Edward E. Reicin is married and has three grown children.
